OBJECTIVES & TARGET GROUPS
Our project has the following objectives:
– To adapt and enhance the European supported employment model to create adaptive pathway for labour market inclusion
of refugees and immigrants from Syria and Ukraine.
– To develop relevant career counseling guidelines to support the realisation of the process of their labour market inclusion
– To train at least 20 career counsellors and supported employment consultants based on new guidelines
– To improve the provision of further qualification opportunities for VET providers and trainers
In the project activities we will involve the following target groups:
1. Supported employment providers – job coachers, career counselors, social workers, job specialist who are working directly with refugees and which can implement the adapted Supported employment process at the labour market.
2. VET training providers / VET centres – responsible bodies for the VET training of Supported employment providers. Those organisations can use both project deliverables in order to increase the level of the VET training services which they offered as well as to assure the quality of the trainings which they provides.
3. Non-profit establishments working with refugees – those who directly organise training and supportive activities for labour market inclusion of the refugees and working toward equal employment opportunities. The responsible team members of those establishments will take part into the training course in the field of Supported employment.
4. Employers – companies who would like to introduce the SE approach into their activities and to take benefit from the project results for free of charge.
5. Governmental bodies – institutions in Portugal and Bulgaria responsible for changes into the social policy and labour legislation such as Job Centres, Executive Employment Agency, State agencies for refugees and immigrants, The Parliament, The Council of Ministries, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, National accreditation/certification bodies etc. in participating partners’ countries. We use the network with them in order to suggest policy amendments.
